My Work
I’ve worked with organisations ranging from Netflix and Levi’s to Glastonbury and WOW festival. I’ve been commissioned for freelance writing projects for short films, soundscapes and exhibitions, and have performed, sat on or hosted panels at No. 10 Downing Street, Cheltenham Literature Festival, Edinburgh Book Festival, MerkyBooks and more. I have also delivered workshops for schools, member’s clubs, Primadonna Festival, The Women’s Equality Party, The Roundhouse and UN Women UK, amongst others.
Commissions & Performing
I am available for commissions and performances. My poetry and fiction writing has been commissioned for exhibition soundscapes, short films, weddings, podcasts and product launches. I write collaboratively, ensuring the message you wish to deliver is authentically baked into the work without losing my signature style and powerful delivery.
I love performing! I’ve performed my work at festivals, private functions, weddings, curated nights, poetry nights, public events, schools and more. I am comfortable with choosing my own set or being asked to speak about a specific theme, and have often written and performed exclusive work for the event in question.
Please do contact me if you’d like to know more.

Creative writing and poetry workshops
I work with schools, festivals and public service organisations to develop and deliver poetry and creative writing sessions across all ages. Each workshop is customised to suit the needs and experiences of attendees. I am also available to host or speak on panels, facilitate events, conduct interviews or curate sessions focused on writing, creativity, intersectional feminism, politics and equality.

Editorial Mentorships
I love working with other writers and helping shape their work. I offer one to one editorial mentorships tailored to your individual needs - no mentorship is the same. My expertise is in literary fiction, and my aim is not to impose my own ideas of what your work should look like, but to work with you, the writer, to help bring out the best in your work.
I have worked with writers who have revised manuscripts multiple times but still feel like something is missing, writers who are stuck and don't know where to go, writers who have a story but need a comprehensive line edit and writers who need help developing their characters, or improving their dialogue, or are stuck with a structural problem. I will edit up to seven thousand words of your work and we'll end the mentorship with a writing plan and a timeline. As a writer, I know what it's like to be professionally edited, and how much it can help in your confidence and understanding of your work. Together, we will work through any blockages, issues or concerns you have about the book you are writing.
An example of a recent 6-month mentorship: after an initial zoom consultation, we set up 4 monthly meetings that workshopped key weaknesses in their work: plot, character development, setting and structure. 'Homework' was set after each session to address the issues. The remaining two sessions involved a close edit of two focal chapters, which we then unpacked and discussed in detail.
I usually only take on 3-4 mentorships per year, so I can remain focused and dedicated to the people I work with. I’m aware that writing seldom pays well, so I try to be as flexible as possible with pricing and will always adjust to you - just drop me a message if you have any questions.
